There are many ways to search for homes online. Over 80% of the home buying population will begin their search on the internet. I maximize this knowledge to make sure my client’s homes that are for sale have maximium exposure. Let’s look at some of the most popular home search sites.
The Willamette Valley Multiple Listing Service has the most accurate, up-to-date information.
Each of the following sites offers something slightly different in the tools hosted which can assist you in search criteria or saving favorite homes, Windermere, Zillow, Redfin, and Trulia. Most major search engines have a real estate section, i.e. MNS, Yahoo, and local newspapers will too. The flaw in these is accuracy and timeliness. Each takes an IDX feed from the local real estate board, i.e. Willamette Valley Mulitple Listing Service (see above).
